Devising new services to be offered in the field of biodiversity will form a crucial part the job
Preparation of workplan prior to proposal, writing technical part of proposal
Deciding on study design
Conducting field surveys
Data analyses and interpretations
Report writing
Attending client meetings as technical resource
Presentation preparation, presenting to client
Key Skills Required:
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
Willingness to travel often and go for frequent field surveys
Dual ability to work in field and at the same time also present findings in a lucid manner through reports and presentations
Familiarity with environmental regulations
Familiarity with biodiversity of various biogeographic zones of India
Willingness to attend various technical conferences and keep oneself abreast with latest advancements in this field
Proficiency in microsoft excel and at least one data analyzing tool such as R
Willingness to learn new softwares and tools in ecology
good networking skills
Post-graduates in any of the biological sciences/environmental science with some prior experience of field work can apply. Those with a fresh doctoral degree may also apply.
