ENUMERATORS

We are looking to recruit 6-8 field enumerators for a large socioeconomic survey on water management in the Arkavathy basin villages. The survey will have household and farm level components and is expected to cover around 30 villages across the basin, between the Nandi Hills to Kanakapura stretch.

The applicants should have (a) excellent knowledge of Kannada and working knowledge of English, and, (b) prior experience in administering questionnaires and conducting rural household surveys. In addition, (c) broad knowledge of the landscape and the issues surrounding agriculture and water management in the Arkavathy basin is desirable, though not essential. (d) at least a bachelors degree, though this is flexible in the case of applicants with sufficient experienceThe duration of employment will be 6 months with a consolidated pay of Rs. 12,000 per month. Expenses for travel, food etc. will be provided in addition.
