Sálim Ali Centre for Ornithology and Natural History , Coimbatore requires research personnel for the following research projects:
1. Cumulative Impact Assessment study of Hydro Power Projects on river Yamuna, Tons and tributaries”
Name of the Position : Senior Research Fellow ; Age : below 32 years for SRF (28 for JRF) as on 1.5.2013; Duration: 14 months; Fellowship : 16000 + HRA; Qualification and Experience: Minimum second class post graduate degree in Biological Sciences (Botany/ Zoology/ Wildlife Biology), Two years research experience after PG. Aptitude in Ecological Research preferably on birds, mammals, reptiles and / or insects with relevant field experience in Himalayan region.
2. Social organization, behavior and phylogeography of Macaca fascicularis umbrosa on the Nicobar Islands, India
