Centre for Environment Education (CEE) is a national institution engaged in developing programmes and material to increase awareness about the environment and sustainable development. CEE was established in 1984 as a Centre of Excellence in Environmental Education, supported by the Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF), Government of India. CEE's primary objective is to improve public awareness and understanding of the environment with a view to promoting the conservation and sustainable use of nature and natural resources, leading to a better environment and a better quality of life.
About the Project: Srushti Mitra Award is an environment award programme of the Environment, Dept. of Maharashtra Govt. This award programme is to encourage and promote people for undertaking efforts and actions for raising awareness about and conservation of the environment at the Maharashtra State level. CEE is managing this award for the Environment Dept.
Job Profile: Person is to assist in the day-to-day tasks associated for the management of the award activities at CEE. Such task are making of the communication material for the award publicity, facilitating publicity activity in the State with different media, receiving of the entries and its processing and evaluations, production of the materials for the award. The candidate must have experience in Mass Communication and Management. The incumbent also be interested in working with the Schools for facilitation of projects and activities on environment conservation.
Qualification: First Class Master’s in Science, Mass Communication or Management. Proficiency in Marathi with writing and translation skills in English and knowledge in PC is required.
Location: CEE’s Pune Office.
Mode of appointment: Project, initially for one year (extendable).
Salary: Rs.15,000/- per month.
