1. A basic university qualification included in the schedule to Dentist Act, 1948 (16 of 1948).
2. MDS or equivalent qualification recognized by the Dental Council of India in the subject concerned.
Nine years teaching experience in the speciality concerned after postgraduate degree out of which at
least four years should be as Associate Professor/ equivalent post in the speciality concerned.

Professor-Dental)
1. A basic university qualification included in the schedule to Dentist Act, 1948 (16 of 1948).
2. MDS or equivalent qualification recognized by the Dental Council of India in the subject
concerned.
Three years teaching experience in the speciality concerned as Resident.
